Scheduled it with a local shop for next Saturday to dynotune the computer, in the meantime I’ve got to drive the car untuned to find kinks so I’m not fixing them at $150hr. 2 potential problems found so far.

1.) The coolant lines feel suspiciously hard making me worry about a blown head gasket.

2.) The clutch slip is immense under any real power, but the clutch is brand new so I hope it’s just surface rust on the flywheel that needs to wear away, or the clutch needs to bed in.

3.) Turbos are leaking lots of oil but that was expected.

Int ake and exhaust made almost entirely from scrap bends that a muffler shop provided.

Very cool. That clutch issue seems odd. Do you notice any rear main seal leaks or any transmission fluid by the clutch? A new clutch should be pretty solid once engaged. Hopefully the dry clutch is staying dry.

Fore other issue you might be able to rent a coolant pressure set from the local parts store or Harbor freight to check for leakage.

What is holding the intake piping together or are the bands off in the photo?

T clamps weren’t installed yet in that photo.

Part of me knows the clutch is slipping because it is rated for 300 crank hp and stock automatic was putting out 220hp. But the flywheel had been sitting out and I sanded off some rust, I want to hope this $300 clutch isn’t getting thrown away for a $6-700 clutch immediately.

You bring up a good point about renting a pressure tester, I will do that this weekend.

In this case clutch slip is a badge of honor.  Good job!   This looks like a fun project.
